Synopsis:

Through unrelenting night, a small band of mountaineers scale the endless cliffs of their planet. Upwards, always ascending, they chart a vertical route through a labyrinth of chasms in the dark. After many years the expedition leader dies. The surviving trio of half-human sherpas must learn to navigate the alien cavern-world on their own, seeking a lost route to the surface and the open sky.
